      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A bag that has endured a lot, and looks like it will last for years to come!

I've had my Jansport Trinity bag for a few years now, and am so impressed with how hard wearing it is. I did buy it while in sixth form as a fashion bag, as it's unusual in that it's made by a 'serious' rucksack manufacturer, but is still clearly girly. Since then it's been to festivals where it's had all kinds of abuse, including having wellies and sleeping bags hung from the loops on the front of the bag, which have never shown any sign of wear. It was then was used for around a year by my brother, who got it filthy while riding his bike. It went through a normal cycle on the washing machine, and came out as good as new!

JanSport bags comes with a 30 year warranty, but I in no way expected it to look brand new after years of hard use. There's not a single mark on it! And it's not just built to last: the padded back and shoulder straps make it so comfortable to wear, even when it's full plus has extra weight tied to it. The key holder in the front pocket is particularly useful, as I always know where my keys are, and also feel like they're less likely to be stolen by pickpockets when clipped to my bag. The extra organiser pouch in the middle pocket is great too, especially when camping, as it's spacious enough for toiletries and makeup.

The only thing that I feel the bag is lacking is a 'secret' pocket in the main compartment, which would allow you to hide small items away from pickpockets. With the current design, small items are best kept in the front or middle pockets, which is precisely where pickpockets are likely to look.
