      I would buy it again

I paid 39p for this tin of soup in Aldi. Aldi has a seemingly growing variety of soups in the 'Soupreme' range. The label on the tin is mostly pea green in colour, so is easy to spot on the shelf. I often have soup for lunch, and tend to have the whole tin on these occasions. The whole tin of this soup would be 300 calories. It will also provide 10.6g protein, 14.2g carbs and 5.6g fat. These values are all a little higher than many of the Aldi Chunky soups but still pretty good for a tinned convenience food. The soup is quite a thick mixture, mostly pea green in colour, with pinkish bits bobbing around. I heated mine in the microwave for 3 minutes and served with a small handful of croutons. I found this soup to be very enjoyable, warming and full of flavour. The small pieces of ham are really nice and well 'cooked'. This is one of the nicest pea and ham soups I have tried and I would buy it again. A great effort from Aldi - great value too
