      Lovely dressing!

In my home we get through an awful lot of fish in a week. Whether it be fresh fish or shellfish we all love it and with my Step-dad trying to desperately shed 4 stone we've come over all healthy..... well some of us have...not really me so much to be honest I love sauces and dressings on my food and tend to not appreciate low fat versions very much which led my Mother into the purchase of this in our local Asda store a couple of weeks back.

      The Packaging:

500ml glass see-through jar with a pinkish coloured screw on/off lid. Around the middle of the jar there is a photograph of prawns in the sauce and I'm told it is Asda Seafood Sauce and that it is Vegetarian and the size is stated (as I've listed already). Other information tells me the ingredients and allergy advice (Contains barley, egg, sulphur dioxide, mustard and celery and may contain traces of nuts and/or seeds. I'm also told it contains no artificial colours or flavours, a full nutritional run-down is given, I'm told how to store it and contact details for Asda are given. It's a nice enough informative jar and easy to use etc.

      The Sauce:

I love it! It's a light creamy looking pinkish colour and it's thick but not gloppy. It's smooth and glossy and even tastes that way. It's a nice blend of egg, tomato sauce, mustard, sugar, spices, lemon juice and vinegar with a dash of Worcester sauce (and of course a few other different things). It's so nice this really is! It's tangy, naturally sweet and I find with a lot of sauces like this they can really overdo the vinegar in it making it too sharp but this has a slight tangy sharpness to it. It's simply wonderful and good quality and even put on hot food it doesn't melt to water but holds up really well! It's well seasoned and very rich and this so far in seafood sauces is my utmost favourite!
