Ketchup - it's an essential in anyones kitchen cupboards, but with so many brands to choose from at loads of different prices, its often deemed a risk to go with a cheap version. Some may be watery, watered down with vinegar (yuck!) or just genuinely don't have that 'tomato sauce' taste. But stop, and look no further. Asda Smartprice Tomato Ketchup is going to be one of the best choices you make when it comes down to the dining table favourite. Costing just 28 pence, it has to be one of the cheapest bottles of ketchup you can buy.

The bottle itself is glass and you have to pour it on, but hey, it is 28p! But you cant let that put you off, the sauce is thick enough to just slide down so you can pour it on without worrying you might drown your dinner. I genuinely was worried about buying this at first, but i would never buy another branded ketchup, it's a smash hit in my house at dinner and lunch, and no one can tell the difference, whats the point in paying another 80p or so just because it's 'Heinz'? I've seen some of their bottles being £1 to nearly £2.50! Even then you are paying for a 'squeezy' bottle and the branding

For example: a glass bottle of Heinz ketchup is £1.19 for 342g, Asda Smartprice ketchup is 28p for 550g, you're getting almost double the amount for 90p cheaper!

It's safe to say my daughter has to have it when she has chips and won't eat them without it, and i havea fussy eater! So, I. recommend everyone to try it, at least just once. Dont like it? You only lost 28p, and if you do? Well, everytime you need more, its just 28pence. I'm buying at least one bottle a week now!
