Advantages: Tasty and great for a treat!

Disadvantages: none!

I love desserts! I have one almost every day after tea which normally consists of ice cream! The best way to eat ice cream is topped with one of these sauces!

The flavours that you can find Askeys treat flavoured dessert sauces are toffee, strawberry, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and maple. All of the Treat ranges are free from artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives, and yet they have a long shelf life and don't need refrigerating!

They come in a 325g bottle that is blue covered in a plastic coating on which has the 'Askey's' logo and the word 'treat' on in a fun font. It is coloured as the same as the sauce instead e.g. red for strawberry and each has its oven design on the front as though done with the sauce. They also have a little star in the corner holding a wand showing that the sauce is truly magic! You can buy these for around 60p in most supermarkets.

You don't need to just use these on ice cream; they are also perfect drizzled over waffles, pancakes and desserts and allow you to create low cost finishing touches to your entire dessert menu.

Let's not forget the taste! I myself have only tasted the strawberry, milk chocolate and toffee flavoured sauces and each tasted very nice. They weren't overpowering yet they weren't lacking in the flavour - so very delicious!

The strawberry flavoured one doesn't taste exactly like strawberry, but as close you you can get to it. It has a more sugary taste like strawberry squash though it does smell like strawberries. Again the milk chocolate flavoured sauce doesn't taste exactly like milk chocolate as it would be very hard to do this but it does have a cheap bar of chocolate taste about it and is a bit thinner than the other sauces. (Though it does smell like chocolate but not too strongly) The toffee sauce is my favourite as it really feels like melted toffee! the taste is very creamy and it gives off a great buttery sweet smell. The consistency of all sauces are thick-ish and comes out of the squeezy bottle easily. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to spice up their desserts!

Summary: Amazing for desserts!
