This is one recipe sauce which we all enjoy particularly my teenage daughter who rejects most of the food we eat.

Lovely mix for chicken and crunchy veg, good in wraps as well as a stir fry.

I first came across this sauce mix from Colman's when there was an offer on at Morrisons (I think it was 2 for 80p), I had picked up a hunters chicken and didn't know what else to try.My housemate and I decided that this one sounded nice so gave it a go. I do like stir fry but have to be in the mood for it, so this time we decided to have the honey chicken in a tortilla wrap. Following the instructions on the back of the easy to read pack, I browned 2 chicken breasts which i had diced. Then I added chopped onions (I prefer red ones), peppers, and although the packet suggestion doesn't state it, I also added mini corn, like in a typical stir fry. Then I added the sachet powder mixed with cold water (250ml I think, I don't have a packet in the house at the moment). Because I like them crunchy, I added mange tout towards the end. I then simmer the mixture in the frying pan for about 10 minutes so that it goes really sticky. the packet suggests that it serves 4 but my housemate and I like it with plenty of sauce (I think if this was to serve 4 and cover noodles with sauce too, then you would struggle). I like to spoon the mixture into flour tortillas with added sour cream, it is very sloppy but good! You will find this with all the other packet sauces in your local supermarket and it costs around 80p.
