Dolmio sauces are the perfect answer. More specifically, their extra onion and garlic bolognese, which is near perfection. Dolmio have a rich tradition of creating tomato based sauces, this Bolognese Sauce has extra garlic and onion to give extra flavour to a meal, it is something we have in our store cupboard as a back up product for us for emergency dinners. There are a number of flavours in the Dolmio range, with added herbs and spices, as well as the original, but this is one we keep coming back to as the extra onion and garlic give the meat extra flavour and provide a perfect contrast to the dish. Once a week in my home (usually on a Friday night lol) we have a spaghetti bolognese. It's happened every week for the past five years, and me I'm not a fan of the stuff but it's not me that cooks it! If I've ever made it I've made up my own sauce from scratch but my Mother (who is the chief cook and bottle washer in our house according to her!) uses a sauce and cheats! My Mother is a fan of using 'stir in' sauces and her favourite one's seem to be Dolmio cos that's all I've ever had on my plate off her but last week we had this different variety!
