Advantages: Tastes great, easy to use
Disadvantages: None i can think of
In this review i am reviewing the Dolmio express sauces in pouches. The flavours that they have in these are:
- Creamy Carbonara
- Creamy mushroom
- Spicy Italian chilli
- sun-ripened tomatoes and basil
- Minced beef bolognese
- Minced beef bolognese with extra mushroom
- minced beef bolognese with extra onion and garlic
All of these sauces can be bought at most supermarkets including Asda, Tesco's and Sainsbury's. They cost about £1.15 per sauce. They are serving for 1 person, although i do eat them on my own my and my sister sometimes share one which still goes a long way. They all are free of artificial colours, flavours and preservatives and are easy to cook as they microwave in only 45 seconds. Each of these sauces comes in a microwavable pouch of 170g. They are mainly green with a red edge around the ones with a red sauce and white for the ones with a white sauce. They each have pictures of what's in the pouch i.e. Italian chilli - chilli's.
* Creamy Carbonara
This is a classic italian white sauce with cream, cheese and ham. This creamy sauce is a favourite italian classic. Dolmio have used sweet cream, ham, tangy cheese and aromatic garlic to make the taste top quality. The sauce is of a thickish consistency. I don't like this sauce very much though as i don't really like ham and you can taste it in this product.

This consists of chunks of mushrooms and cheese. Again this is an italian sauce is full of mushrooms and sweet cheese. It is a creamy white sauce, which i have come to the conclusion that i don't seem to like these! It's kind of like a thick soup but obviously has a more sweeter sauce taste.

* Spicy Italian chilli
This sauce is a combination of mixed spicy Italian chilli's with fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic and olive oil. It has chucks on tomatoes in and is a runnier sauce which mixes well in pasta. We always have this one at home as if one of your favourites; though i prefer others is it is a bit spicy sometimes.

* Tomato and Basil
This sauce is full of flavour - juicy tomatoes and fragrant basilica fresco. This is another great one to have on your pasta and has very tangy taste in a good way! The herbs really make the sauce here as it adds a lot of flavour. This sauce again is slightly runnier than others.

*Minced beef bolognese
Tasty beef bolognese with juicy tomatoes, and a balance of herbs and olive oil. This is a great sauce for any kind of pasta and for a more traditional taste. This sauce is a more chunky sauce full of mince and bits of tomatoes. This is my favourite and has a real great taste.

* Minced Beef bolognese with extra mushroom
This is the same as the other bolognese sauce just literally with added mushrooms. I like his as well as the other as in this one you can see chopped mushrooms but couldn't taste it in the other sauces. This is definitely one for mushroom lovers!

* Minced beef bolognese with extra onions and garlic
Again it has the same mince, tomatoes and herbs yet you can actually see the chunks of onion and taste the extra garlic. I'm not too sure if i like the one as much, i don't really like to be able to see onions if I'm going to be eating them, and the garlic you can clearly taste there is more which I'm not too keen on.

I would definitely recommend these sauces as with a wide selection there's a sauce for everyone! They are very easy to use, just cut the corner and pop it in the microwave!
Summary: Great sauces for your everyday pasta!
