I still think when it comes to tinned soup, Heinz still beats the competition. A tin of soup is a useful last resort for a midday hot meal. Tinned food often contains a lot of salt in the form of monosodium glutamate and Heinz vegetable soup is no exception. There is also a lot of sugar added. The total sugar content is over 12g per tin. Heinz is one of my favourite brands, nothing compares to it, beans, spaghetti, soup anything i always buy Heinz. And the Vegatable Soup is my all time favourite. It is healthy as it full of different types of veg, low in fat and keeps you full for a reasonably long time. It has a wonderful tomato type flavour. However i must admit i normally spice mine up a little by adding a dash of Tabasco or hot sauce to give it an extra kick and to be honest i definately recommend any spice lovers to try this trick.
