      Very helpful

      Rather tasty

This weekend I paid a visit to one of Warsaw's Marks & Spencer's stocking up on 4 cans of soup which should keep me busy until I visit the countryside on Friday morning.

Their own brand can of cream of vegetable soup was sitting unassumingly on the shelf, I usually automatically reach for the chunky soups on offer but noticed that the Cream of Vegetable and Cream of Asparagus soups were slightly cheaper and thought I'd give them ago.

The can wasn't particularly inspiring but I found the taste to be satisfying, one tin can just about fill your average sized bowl and served up with some filling bread, it's actually quite a filling little meal.

For convenience, like most tin soups - it gets full marks but where it really wins points is in the taste category, the Marks & Sparks soups are a little hit and miss but this one has a thick yet smooth consistency and tastes of blended vegetables in a way that reminds me of a homemade Portuguese vegetable soup or even a Moroccan one without the spiciness.

The soup also has a distinctive creaminess to it that makes this cheap can of own brand soup rather flavourful for what it is.

Definitely one of the better M&S Soups that I've tried so far.
