Advantages: low price
Disadvantages: I have not seen any disavantages on this product.
I have been samplying from sainsbury's basic range , in a bid to save a few pounds .
I have discovered a a bargain , for just 9 pence , I have discovered a jar of the basics range of curry sauce .
This jar is clear and see through so that you can see the contents inside, and a full jar which contains 440grams, is enough for a whole big oven proof dish full of curry.
The jar is easy to open with a screw lid, and contains a really great tasting curry sauce which i think makes for a lovely curry .
I usuelly cut some skinless chicken breasts in to mouthfulls and in to bite size portions .
I then heat two spoons full of oil in to a large frying pan and then add the chicken pieces which i then fry untill cooked well, depending on how you like your chicken cooked i usualy fry mine for aproximately five to ten minutes, and im stirring this around all the while i am cooking this then stir in a few vegtables, and then add the sauce , which has a nice smell to it .
You can smell the spices, It has a really lovely flavour and makes great curry.
I then bring this to the boil , cover and then reduce the heat, and then let it gently simmer for about quarter of a hour, whilst this is cooking I then boil some rice, i prefer plain rice because of all the different varieties of vegtabels i dont think i would prefer to have any other rice with this dish, as i prefer to have a plain one .
The jar .
On the side of the jar they give you a heathy hint , this one states that if you reduce the total amount of fat in your particular diet, especialy saturated fats, then that may help you to maintain a healthy heart" Thats a good hint, and they have those written on the side of the jar .
In this curry sauce of 110 grams this serving will provide you with calories of 71 .
Fat in this jar is 2.8 grams .
Salt at 0.8 grams .
I love the taste that this curry sauce has, and it makes for a really great curry .
You should try this as it is cheap , I am so impressed with the quality and taste that this curry has !!!
Thanks for reading and rating my review
