I regularly buy Sainsbury's Deli-Filler Free Range Egg Mayo because it's just a really good quality product that transforms any sandwich. A 230g pot of Sainsbury's Deli-Filler Free Range Egg Mayo costs £1.60 from Sainsburys, which I feel is a really good price and one that I'm perfectly willing to pay. I actually really like it added to sandwiches, so, for example, adding it to a ham sandwich or a cheese sandwich - and it just gives it another element which lifts it.

The ego mayo comes in a little plastic tub which is transparent and so you can see the product before you buy it. The tub has a resealable lid and this helps to keep it fresh once the tub has been opened, which is important as I would never use the whole tub in one go. The shelf life is about a week and so this is obviously a decent shelf life, although obviously it needs to be kept in the fridge.

The ego mayo looks as you would expect egg mayo to look. It is not too sloppy as there is a decent amount of egg in the mix and the mayo is used as the binder rather than the main event which I have seen in other products. It has a nice taste to it, although I do tend to feel the need to add a little seasoning - usually a little black pepper and cayenne pepper and that's perfect. I do also like to add a handful of chives because this brings the flavours out perfectly. It is quite calorific, but this is one of the reasons that I tend to add a small layer of it to a sandwich, rather than having this as the main basis of the sandwich.

Overall, I feel this is a good product and I will continue to buy it.
