Delicious gravy granules for the perfect accompaniment to any roast dinner.

Something about the sight of a pot of gravy just makes me feel warmer inside and reminds me of my childhood. Also, I love my food and a nice roast dinner on the weekend is just delicious and never complete without lashings of delicious, thick, hot gravy.

Sainsbury's Gravy Granules are designed to be used and served over most meats and a 500g pot is available from Sainsbury's stores or www.sainsburys.co.uk for £1.28 which is a very reasonable price as a pot of this lasts for a couple of months in my busy household.

This product is very simple to make, 4 heaped teaspoons and a 1/2 pint of hot water, stir well and you've got delicious gravy for use on roast dinners, chicken, mash, anything you like really!

This gravy has a smooth texture so it's easier to mix, giving you perfect gravy to pour over all your favourite meat meals. If you add the juices from your sunday roast meat, a few herbs and a little salt & pepper and you have your very own secret ingredients. This gravy gives off a lovely smell and is delicious and succulent and the taste really does compliment meat, especially chicken.

Ingredients: Potato Starch, Palm Oil, Salt, Wheat Flour, Natural Flavouring (Natural Flavourings, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein), Beef Dripping, Colour: Plain Caramel, Malt Extract (from Barley), Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Lactic Acid.

Store in a cool dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.

They generally have a long shelf life (about 1 year on average) but I can't see these lasting anywhere near that long anyway, not in my house.

I love gravy on anything really, especially chips or my Mums delicious roast dinners! (chicken please!).

A 70ml serving provides 22 calories, 1.4g fat, 0.6g saturated fat, 0.7g salt and just a trace of sugar. Overall this isn't too bad at all and I probably use this gravy once or twice a week now, sometimes more and I love to add a dash of Marmite as one of my secret ingredients!

The taste is very delicious and I have absolutely no complaints about this product, this definitely gets a 5/5 from me as it is easy to make up and fast and always delicious with most meals.
