Delish Sauce To Liven Up Your Fish

I've been eating a lot of fish just lately and am loving it but even the best cod and salmon gets a bit boring after a bit. I've been trying some different sauces and dressings but this one is deffo my fave and the bonus is that it's a low fat sauce!

It's quite dear and a 300g pouch costs £1.94, that sounds a lot but you get 2 or 3 servings out of 1 pouch so it's not that bad. The best way is to do it is to pour it all into a plastic container and just use as much as you need because it doesn't reheat very well if you put too much in the saucepan. You have to use it all within 3 days but that's dead easy because it's so yummy!!!

It's easy to cook and only needs to be warmed through for 3 mins, you can either warm it up and pour it over your cooked fish or use it as a stir fry sauce. In a stir fry it goes wicked with salmon but it's also proper nice with chicken or prawns.

There are 3 main tastes in this sauce and that's soy sauce, sesame and ginger. The main flavour is the soy sauce and that means this is quite a salty tasting sauce, not in a bad way and the taste of salt deffo isn't so strong you need a drink after it but it's salty in the sort of way that Chinese food is.

The sauce is a bit sticky and it tastes lush. There's a bit of a warm taste in it and that must be the ginger and there are shedloads of small sesame seeds floating about in the sauce. They're cooked dead nice so you haven't got to stress about getting seeds all stuck in your teeth as you're eating it but you'll deffo be able to feel them as you're eating.

I had mine with smoked whiting last night and the sauce made this dead boring fish taste sooooo yummy! It's as simpel as warming it up and pouring it over the fish and you can use it on ANY fish you fancy because the sauce hasn't got a majorly strong flavour so it doesn't completely cover the taste of the fish and just brings out the fresh flavour.

If you make it so the pouch serves 3 each serving has 93 calories and 1.4g fat and that's not bad for something to complete your dinner as good as this sauce does.

      Recommended... yummy!!!
