      Brings Back Memories Of Xmas!

We ended up having this cranberry sauce with our Xmas dinner after my mum tried it at her works dinner and said how good it was. I'm deffo an Ocran Spray kinda girl so was a bit worried about how this would taste compared to the more well known brand.

It's delish, a bit more sour than the Ocean Spray we usually use but that only comes through as an aftertaste and as you're eating the cranberry sauce it's very sweet.

This one is even more like jam than other cranberry sauces, obviously the fact that it's made with cranberries means it's not going to be as mega sugary tasting as jam. It's got a cross between a smooth and a bumpy texture and that makes it go proper nice with the turkey, there aren't millions of whole cranberries in it but the flavour is definately cranberry like and actually tastes of fresh cranberries instead of anything synthetic.

I love it but admit I do prefer Ocean Spray because I like the sweeter taste better, this is deffo the most authentic of the 2 though so I reckon it will have gone down brill on loads on Xmas dinners this year.

It comes in a smart looking square glass jar and to use the rest up we've been mixing it in stuffing and even added a load to the turkey stew we had on boxing day. It goes lovely in stuffing and adds a sweet and fruity flavour that goes so nice with the herbs, in the stew it also brought out a fruitiness that was delish paired with the turkey and vegetables.

I think this jar cost about £1.00 and that's about the same price as other branded cranberry sauce, personally I prefer Ocean Spray but if you fancy trying a cranberry sauce that tastes a bit more like fresh real cranberries then I reckon you should give this one a go.
