Tesco fresh carrot and coriander soup This soup was on special offer in Tesco this week for 75p so I bought a carton to have for our lunch one day. I have gradually been using up my stock of homemade soups which I had frozen in the plastic pots I washed and saved from the soups I bought towards the end of last year in the Tesco Finest range. This would make a change I thought and be a quick and easy option. I have tried a few of this range and been a bit unimpressed so I was not expecting a wonderful soup but I did think it might taste of carrots and coriander. The packaging was one of the impossible to open cardboard cartons that you have to cut ... Read the complete review

*****Tesco Carrot and Coriander Soup***** *****The Humble Carrot***** In case you didn’t know already, carrots are really good for you. The health benefits of carrots have been heralded with the dawn since Greek and Roman times, and as far as how fantastic they are, nothing much has changed about them since then. Carrots are orange because they’re full of beta-carotene, hence the lovely title of CARROTS. Tesco Carrot and Corriander soup is a delicious creamy freshly made soup. It comes in packaging which is very hard to open, and requires scissors. It is not as practical as a can and i think that they might have used a carton to save money, but being a Tesco product, they have no doubt passed the saving on to the consumer, so i shouldn't really complain. It is a mustardy yellow colour, which at first looks horrible but don't let this put you off. It is one of the nicest soups I have ever tasted and is no doubt good for you because of the numerous small chunks of carrot. The volume of soup in the carton is more than in a can so you get value for ... Read the complete review

I just had some of this very product for my lunch 2 hours ago, so this is straight from the horse's mouth (as it were). This soup's really nice - great for vegetarians. The butterbeans are always a bit on the firm side, but not too unpleasantly. There are loads of carrotty bits too so you know what you're eating! Carrots are really good for you and so are butterbeans (especially for the average veggie diet). The overall taste is very pleasant and a tin's enough to keep you going. If you're greedy like me yopu can add bread - I'd recommend some crusty white with hummous spread thickly - goes really well! As with Tesco stuff the price ain't bad either - the ...
