I am not a huge fan of mayonnaise but I couldn't eat a hard boiled egg without some mixed in and I wouldn't like a tuna sandwich which had no mayonnaise in it either. I'm not brand loyal when it comes to mayonnaise so will look out for deals or supermarket own brands to save a bit of money.

I sometimes buy 'Light' mayonnaise and sometimes the full fat version. I am often torn between the lighter choice calorie wise versus the fact that real mayonnaise has less man made ingredients in it.
The jar that this mayo comes in is a sturdy glass jar and is exactly the same shape as all mayo seems to come in, a short, rotund jar. This one has blue lid which is easy to screw off. The label on the front of the jar is light blue as opposed to the full fat one which is dark blue (very reminiscent of the Hellmans variety!).

When you unscrew the lid I can't smell the product but if you put your nose very close to the jar you can smell the mayonnaise, I feel there's nothing in particular to comment on the smell. Not overly strong, pleasant or unpleasant, it's just there. I'm not that keen on the texture of this mayonnaise when you spoon it out of the jar. The one word I would use is gelatinous. It seems to have a wobble when you spoon it out unlike the firmer Hellmans brand. However, I think the taste is perfectly satisfactory. As I said earlier, I'm not obsessive about mayonnaise but I do like it with my eggs and tuna and I think this serves that purpose very well.

A 240ml jar costs just 54p from Tescos which I think is a great price. It really is good value for the product.

In general I think this is a good product, it is just the texture which lets it down slightly. I would recommend it though.
