Everyone I tell pulls a face at the thought of curried porridge, but it tastes wonderful!Just add 2 or 3 rounded teaspoons of the curry powder to equal volumes of dry porridge oats, water & milk, stir and microwave for 2mins to 3mins, stirring half way through. Forget last nights take-away curry in the fridge, get your day off to a flyer.
This is the best and most authentic chinese curry sauce mix I have ever tried.it is so simple to make up and to store. As I live alone I make up 2 pints at a time then seperate into containers then freeze them for quick and easy but very tasty meals.I do add a little chilli flakes to mine as I prefere it a little hotter,but believe me this product is excellent and very authentic.As my nearest take away is 11 miles away this does the job for me and every one I have cooked it for as agreed with me.As I have no local stockist I buy it mail order direct from yeungs and they are very quick in despatching it to me.PLEASE Ttry IT !!! Absolutely spot on for tasting like Take-Away Chinese curry. Didn't believe it till I tried it! Got it in local butchers but hear it is available from Morrisons although yet to check. Use half the packet with one pint of water for 4 chicken breasts and it thickens as you heat and stir it. Add to chicken Beautiful!
