Targus Mini USB Business Card Scanner: ... work in a job where I meet hundreds of people a year, and often need to be able to contact any of them at short notice. As a result, I have 6 full cases of business cards on my desk (With maybe a hundred cards in each). Sorting these out was a nightmare. 	Epson Perfection 4990 Photo ... bought this (flat bed) scanner as I have lots of transparancies that I want to store on my computer before they fade. I looked at a lot of scanners before I found one that would scan in 35mm, medium format and slides and which didn t cost a fortune. You can use it on automatic and it will decide if you are scanning in a photo or a document. It uses software to transfer your document into a pdf file which is very useful if you want to change or add to the document. 	HP Scanjet 4570C ... Scanjet 4570C is now a-bit-old scanner, we ve had it for a few years, but it s still usable & working allright... It is a bit bulky & not quite easy to work with, but it s okay.. 	Veho VFS-001me 5 Mega pixel slide+negative scanner ... Veho Film Scanner scans negatives and slides straight to your computer. Very useful if you want to digitalize your photo collection. This scanner sells for about £70 online. Now, I m no photography expert, but in my honest opinion if you can afford it I would go for a more expensive model. The scanner itself I think is fine but the auto scan function means that you cannot adjust the light manually so it automatically adjusts this before scanning, for most pictures this is fine but can be a problem for dimly lit/nighttime shots and you have to mess with the levels in photoshop and it s quite time consuming.
