... easy to use and the resolution and detail of the scanning is excellent. The only downside that could be the problem with it is that it is a bit big and heavy for a scanner but that is no real problem, because the main idea of it is how it scans and the simplicity. Both being excellent as it has brilliant quality and it is extremely easy to use. My dad bought this scanner for our PC, instead of the scanner you get as part of the package. I am so glad he picked this as its a fabulous scanner at a reasonable price. I can't remember the price for this, but all i remember is that, at the time this was the best scanner for its price and a top-class cheap scanner. It is made to perform on Windows 98 and iMac. Another good thing about it is that it is USB, and that was pretty good when i got it and that was 2 odd years ago. This scanner came to my attention when I had been on the lookout for a scanner to replace my old one, which had unfortunately given up the ghost. At a price of £33 from Jungle.com, it was too good a deal to miss. First impressions are of how the styling has been influenced by the Apple iMac. The one I ordered comes in a rather natty dark translucent green colour. You can order it in a light blue colour, or a more standard beige. Setting it up was a dawdle – install the software first, then simply plug it in via the USB port (this means you can only use it with Windows 98, Win95 support for USB is pretty sparse).
