There is another version of this same scanner if you are thinking of doing a lot of photograph scanning but I did not need this version so I pl...

vinodgm Epson Perfection 610
... had posted an opinion earlier this month on the Multifunction printer, scanner, copier and fax, that I had purchased, which was the Canon Multipass C530. Prior to this I was using the Epson Perfection 610. I purchased this Flatbed Scanner early last year at a price of around PDS.100.00 (One hundred pounds) The scanner was very easy to hook up. Just plug in the USB, plug in the power, install the software and your done. I think it took me only 15 minutes from the time I took it out of the box. My previous scanner gave up the ghost quite a while ago so I was looking at a new high quality scanner to use hat home. I was looking at the cheaper 30 pound models and decided to try them and they were terrible quality and very slow. I then decided to pay a bit more and got thins wonderful Epson Perfection610. Plugged it in and flicked through the well laid out instruction manual. Loaded the correct drivers and the scanner worked for the first time. I was very impressed by the quality of the scans and also the speed. The preview scan only takes a matter of se...
