	Epson Perfection 610 ... had posted an opinion earlier this month on the Multifunction printer, scanner, copier and fax, that I had purchased, which was the Canon Multipass C530. Prior to this I was using the Epson Perfection 610. I purchased this Flatbed Scanner early last year at a price of around PDS.100.00 (One hundred pounds) The scanner was very easy to hook up. Just plug in the USB, plug in the power, install the software and your done. I think it took me only 15 minutes from the time I took it out of the box. 	Epson Perfection 1640SU ... next door for my very low volume scanning. But it was usually annoying. As soon as I began to scan in my holiday photos, someone would always walk past me, glance at the screen and start commenting on what I was doing. Fine for the holiday photos perhaps, but not so good when it was a drawing or something more personal (see my other opinion on drawing). So I gave in at Easter and acquired an Epson Perfection. The Epson Perfection scanner does everything a scanner should do and does it in a straightforward and efficient way. 	Epson Perfection 610 ... would you want more? Excellent quality, simple operation and outright speed make this a clear winner. My previous scanner gave up the ghost quite a while ago so I was looking at a new high quality scanner to use hat home. I was looking at the cheaper 30 pound models and decided to try them and they were terrible quality and very slow. I then decided to pay a bit more and got thins wonderful Epson Perfection610. Plugged it in and flicked through the well laid out instruction manual. Loaded the correct drivers and the scanner worked for the first time.
