This being my second scanner I would have to say HP have made this scanner very simple to use.
To scan an image and send it to a file or the printer can be done by pressing one of the two buttons on the front of the scanner. Or it can be done by launching the software included with the scanner.
The software supplied by HP is very simple and quick to use. Once told to scan the software will automaticaly adjust the settings for best results, and select the area where the image appears. The image is then ready for use.
The image quallity is very good giving clear and sharp colours.
The one complaint I have is that it can feel slow having used a SCSI scanner before.
