HP Scanjet 7650

This is an excellent bit of kit. The price is a bit steep at over £400 but in my opinion i couldnt have bought a better scanner. The quickscan facility on it is good as it allows you to sheet feed a good chunk of paper through it at once if you want to copy it quickly but this doesnt give you the OCR facility. For it be able to do the OCR you have place one sheet at a time on the glass which does time consume if you are trying to process a large document. The software that comes with this is ok it gives you the basic facilities and is ok at OCR but its not the best by a long shot as when scanning some of the documents into the scanner it didnt recognise ...  Read the complete review
