The Paragon 1200 SP Pro is a TWAIN compliant scanner. Through TWAIN the 1200 SP Pro can scan directly into many supported applications. The 1200 SP Pro is truly a cross-platform scanner. It includes all the software and hardware necessary to operate under Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98 and in Macintosh environments. Windows installation is effortless with the included 16-bit Adaptec Plug-and-Play SCSI card and terminator. Under Windows 3.1, the driver allocates the required resources. Windows 95/98 automatically recognizes the interface card when installed and sets all required resources. Macintosh installation is even easier, the scanner plugs into the Mac's built-in SCSI port and the software is all on CD-ROM.
