It was my aproaching my birthday and I was asked what I wanted. "A digital camera" I replied with glee, only to be told that they were too expensive - think of something else. I decided a scanner would be a good idea, I could scan in all those old photos and e-mail them to everyone I know. At the time, Staples were having a sale and the Mustek 600 CP was a good price, £44.94. I had heard of Mustek's reputation for quality and reliability and thought this to be a bargain. I bought my Mustek scanner from Argos and it cost £49.99. I found it extremely easy to set up, as it connects straight to your printer. It also came with OCR software and Photshop 4, which enables you to easy edit your pictures and it also enables you to make birthday cards, business cards and posters. When scanning a picture i was very impressed by how quick it was and i didn't lose any of the original picture quality. The picture under my profile was scanned in using my Mustek scanner and edited with Photoshop 4. The only drawback is it can be quite noisy.
