With its 36-bit color abilities, the ScanExpress A3 can capture over 68.7 billion colors in a single-pass internally. The 36-bit data is used by color management software to accurately display and reproduce the best possible 24-bit image.

With its full TWAIN compliance, ScanExpress A3 scanners allow you to transfer images directly into any TWAIN-supported software application. The ScanExpress A3 series includes two models, one is ScanExpress A3 EP with the EPP interface, and the other is ScanExpress A3 SP with the SCSI interface.
