 ... pictures this is fine but can be a problem for dimly lit/nighttime shots and you have to mess with the levels in photoshop and it's quite time consuming. My other problem with it is that although it was easy to use it was pretty time consuming and I didn't like the fact that even if you installed the drivers you didn't seem to be able to use any other program than the bundled software which was slow and quite difficult to use. Also this didn't work on my mac so I had to use someone elses Windows computer, not a hug...more

The Veho Film Scanner scans negatives and slides straight to your computer. Very useful if you want to digitalize your photo collection. This scanner sells for about £70 online. Now, I'm no photography expert, but in my honest opinion if you can afford it I would go for a more expensive model. The scanner itself I think is fine but the auto scan function means that you cannot adjust the light manually so it automatically adjusts this before scanning, for most pictures this is fine but can be a problem for dimly lit/nighttime shots and you have to mess with the levels in photoshop and it's quite time consuming.
