Stratford-Upon-Avon College ... college is located along side the main high street (the Alcester road) in Stratford - upon - Avon. Access is very easy, the railway station is very close by (just the other side of the road in fact), and it is a short 5 min walk from the main town centre. As well as the Birmingham - Stratford X20 stopping just outside it. The staff at the college are very helpful and friendly (the ones i met) and will show you where to go if you get lost. On site are 3 cafes; two of them are your everyday ones and the third serves hot food at lunch and break, prepared by the cookery students. If that doesn t take your fancy then the main high street is very close by, or the o... Read the full review: Stratford - Upon - Avon College by sam_1 |

Coleg Glan Hafren ... Glan Hafren is Cardiff s largest territorial further education establishment and regularly has around 12,000 students studying at one of their campuses. Although in recent years there has been a motion to change the name of the college from Coleg Glan Hafren to Cardiff Territorial College. Originally the college was designed to serve only the eastern side of Cardiff, with a separate college serving the western side of the city. But this was subsequently stalled and the college now serves the whole of the city... Read the full review: Coleg Glan Hafren - College by the River Seven by chris212 |

AS Levels ... current British further education system is over two years, eventually leading to the infamous "A level" qualifications. The first year is the AS year (the focus of this review) and you then go on to complet the A2 exams in the second year. Further education traditionally takes place over years 12 and 13 of secondary school. I think one of the first things to remember when it comes to AS levels is that they count! The AS level results count towards 50% of your A level in that subject, so if you want a good A level grade at the end of the two years, it is impreative that you do extra well in the AS levels, as this is where most of the easier marks can be pic...
