It has grown a lot in the time that I have known it, including the main campus itself. There is an extensive curriculum, which covers the four key areas of Arts & Technology, Humanities & Sciences, Business & Professional Studies and Land-based Studies. The College caters for all levels of study, from Year 10 and 11 school pupils attending on link and Diploma courses, right through to full Honours degree programmes. I have been going to Bridgwater College for a number of years (when I left school and more recently for evening classes) Firstly let me tell you a bit about the college..... Bridgwater College is located in Somerset, with its main campus in Bridgwater, 5 minutes away from junction 23 of the M5. The land-based campus is in the village of Cannington. There are a number of centers in Bridgwater, Minehead, Yeovil and Paignton, so covers a large area of the south west. I am a student currently studying a BTEC National Dipoma in Electroics and Computer Engineering. After having a crap year at A levels I decided to move to Bridgwater college to change the direction of my study. I was welcomed much better than Filton and Weston college and this made a huge difference as the people were much more willing to help me. The college itself is situated on the North West of Bridgwater and does not have the best surrounding areas with probably one of the worst council estates right next to it and a cellophane factory only minutes away.
