I went to Bromley College about a year ago. When I was there I study NVQ level 1 and NVQ level 2 in hairdressing. NVQ Level 1 hairdressing: When I did my level one I was doing it full time. I started my course in september and I finished it by March. If you are under 19 the course is free to do. I went to college 3 days out of 7 but one a friday i worked in a salon because you need to have a work placement. When you do NVQ level 1 you will shampoo clients hair, do some health and safety, helping the Level 2 and asking the phone to make book in clients. You will have to buy your kit which is about £150.
