Advantages: Flexible and work around you

Disadvantages: Hard to communicate with your tutor

I am currently studying with the National Extension college, I have to say this is the second distance learning course I have done (different college last time!) and this time it has been hard work.
Since I signed up I had to chase for my course which took nearly two months to arrive, The reading material in the folder they provide you with is very hard to follow and I have to buy seperate text books for help.
I recieve my assignments back a month at a time which I think is a long time, and everytime I have tried to call my tutor to speak to him I get no answer.
I would never do a course with these again!!

The course which I am completing is 'A' level Law and has cost me 370 pounds, you do get the choice to pay in installments which is easier than paying straight away, for this you get assigned your own tutor and a pack containing your course materials which is generally a folder with the relevant reading materials and assignments.
You have to buy your own textbooks, they will give recommendations.
The hardest part for me is entering for my exams as they do not do this for you, and AQA were not very helpful either!!
I would advise you visit a local college or careers office for assitance.

Summary: Very poor service
