Advantages: friendly and welcoming, small classes, excellent teaching staff

Disadvantages: none

Honeyhill community primary school is a state primary located in Paston, peterborough.
the school is for ages 4-11 and has a pre-school on site.honeyhill was once a failing school and was placed on special measures.now nearly three years later since a change of teaching staff and the placement of a new headteacher the winds of change have swept through the whole school.the school was removed from special measures in november and was also awarded a school improvement award, the deputy headteacher was a regional winner of the 2002 teaching award.school standards have risen dramatically and the school is a very friendly and welcoming place to be.the teachers are excellent and actually enjoy the job they are doing, the children are taught to respect everybody as well as themselves.the school has a real community feel about it and that is what makes this school stand out from the rest.people are registering their children at honeyhill from further afield to take advantage of the excellent standard of teaching and facilities for special needs children which includes two learning mentors to help with those who are classed as talented or gifted as well as the less able children.this school is going from strength to strength and this was proved in 2003's keystage1 SATS results with honeyhill scoring the highest level possible.honeyhill in my opinion is the best school i have seen.
