Advantages: Supportive, professional, small classes, great teachers and value for money
Disadvantages: Not state-funded
When i studied at LCFS i soon realised that i had stumbled upon one of hidden gems in fashion education. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and given a lot of individual time from the administration team. The college is small and feels homely but the best thing about it was we spent over 19 hours a week with a teacher. My friends who went to St Martins and London College of Fashion tell me they struggle to reach that in a whole month. I learned so much in such a short space of time. They fixed me up with work experience and all the skills i required for a career in the industry. It's a private college so of course you have to pay, but i feel that this was money well spent, I couldn't sing its praises high enough. If you can afford it, I heartily reccommend it!
