Having just left five months ago, I'm a little more up-to-date than the previous reviewer. There was recently a huge amount of money spent on a new Resource Centre, and an english/drama/music building, there are about two huts left and they are used for storage. There is a pool table now, but I can't exactly say it's in a brand new condition!.
Overall the teachers are quite good, especially the more younger ones. But as ever there are some "disagreeable" ones (mentioning no names in the I.T dept.)
I think that the college improved even in the short time I was there, and it has a very high reputation in the area.
The teachers do want you to pass, they are knowledgeable, and often have a professional background in their subject (one of my media teachers was a journalist, my english teacher co-wrote an A-level textbook, and he still writes for literary mags etc.)
But there still aren't any extra-curricular activities though.
