Selective education is a real political hot potato and I have no intention of spending any time discussing the pros and cons of the system, but will stick to a review of the School. The Langton is a boys' Grammar School which now takes girls in the sixth form at a steadily growing rate. In the past five years or so the school has grown in total from around 750 pupils to nearly 900 and is a highly successful and sought after school.
