The John Bentley School is indeed a friendly and humane school to which I attended. Every pupil is treated well, and with respect and known as "Starfish" to the headteacher. Each student is not just another person in the crowd, they are just as important as every one else. This factor is what makes the school that little bit better than other secondary schools in England.
JBS, as it's known, is not too big a school, but you can still get lost. The school boasts many "high-tech" computer rooms and excellent teaching. Pretty muchall of the classrooms have SmartBoards in them for superb interactive learning.
There are departments for all subjects that include: English, Maths, Science, Tech, Art and Design, Performing Arts, Humanities, Media, P.E, and so on.
There is a brand new sixth form building that is currently being constructed, which will be eco-friendly and modernly designed. The state-of-the-art building has been designed by a previous sixth form student.
Apparently this school has recieved a very good report from OFSTED, as the teachers and pupils cooperate well together.
The teachings seems to be good at JBS and the kids are usually kept in order, apart from the odd trouble maker.
So overall, it's not a bad school after all. Apart from the fact that my locker was once emptied out accidently, so I lost some coursework, which made me extremely angry. Therefore, I am going to give JBS one less star. Haha school.
