Advantages: Good school, achieves good results
Disadvantages: Doesn't do the best range of GCSES
I would say Watford Grammar School for Boys is very good. It has excellent sports facilities, for example it has a gym with all the up to date machines and an excellent sound system in there. There is also a sports hall, good for playing badminton in there and four changing rooms.
Secondly, we move onto the music side of the school. The school has a brilliant muse which consists of several soundproof rooms and two computer suites so you can use sibelius on there which is a music program. Furthermore, concerts take place in the auditorium which is on the ground level on the Muse.
Thirdly, we move onto the MFL. There are several languages taught at Watford Grammar Boys School. These languages are French, German, Spanish and Latin and of course we have brilliant teachers for these subjects who will help you pass your GCSES with flying colours.
Lastly, we move on to the mathematics area. You usually have three or four maths sessions and a week and you are usually setted for them and the majority of the time there are six sets. Of course, we have an amazing maths department.
The schools address is:
Rickmansworth Road - Watford - WD18 7JF
Tel: 01923 208900 - Fax: 01923 208901
The Subjects offered at GCSE:
Maths

Music

Business Studies
German
French
Spanish
Classical Civillisation
To get into the school you need to be in a catchment area and take a free entrance exam, however if you are right close by the school you do not need to take an exam to get in. It is a grammar school so u get good teaching for no cost! It is nice to give a contribution though. If you have a brother in the school. you can get it in without having to take a test
Summary: good schools but lacks in some areas
