Christmas Gift Ideas for Men
Advantages: Wont break the bank but hopefully will crack a smile!
Disadvantages: Not the best idea for alcoholic sex pests
Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars. Well that saying is very true in my experience and it is hard to know what to buy for the men of your life for Christmas. I know for years on end my dad ends up with novelty socks and mugs and the occasional piece of fudge. But surely they get bored of getting the same old rubbish every year?!
Below are two different gift ideas which I believe Men will like but will also be useful and practical to them. Hope you find this useful
Always a winner!!
Most men like a pint or two at the weekends, and even more so over Christmas. But they can be so boring in their choices can't they? Us women, well we like a variety of Christmas tipples from Snowballs, to mulled wine, spirits, fruity ciders and good old liquor coffees. The men? 'Pint please.' That's what I usually hear from my husband and dad. So I got my thinking cap on last year and decided to spice up their fridge with a good selection of ales.
If you look in stores such as Selfridges or BHS (although even supermarkets like Asda and Tesco will fine) you will discover a whole host of exciting Ales. They have some bizarre names with pictures on the label... eg, The Fox and the Hound or Hole in one. You can usually buy them individually or as part of a set and they range from around £2 for individual ones to £8 for a set.
Once you have your Ales you could also jazz it up by adding a few miniatures of their favourite spirits, add a novelty shot glass or Pint glass and perhaps a few beer snacks (my dad loves them big tubes of nuts)
To package it all up just buy a cheap wicker basket and arrange it all neatly inside. You can add cellophane and bows if you like but men will be men and they probably won't notice anyway.
Nice and Naughty Vouchers
If the men in your life are anything like mine then getting them to buy clothes is a complete nightmare. They just won't spend the money and always put off clothes shopping. If you buy them a voucher for a department store such as JD Sports, Moss, Jack Jones etc, then they have no choice but to go and buy something... and as they are not handing over physically money I have found they enjoy the experience a lot more. PS.. Don't get them vouchers for stores which sell silly gadgets and Man toys as well as clothes or you will find your house clogged up with another load of rubbish.
Alternatively you could buy some 'naughty' vouchers from Ann Summers or other adult shops. These vouchers are a bit of fun and include things such as 'One Kiss under the Mistletoe, 'one sexy dance' etc. They will probably enjoy this gift more than the conventional vouchers, and cannot wait to cash them in! And just to add this is probably a good idea if you are buying for your husband or partner, granddads and dads to not take to kindly to them lol
So there you have it, two ideas (well three really) that you can buy your man for Christmas. A perfect collection for his Christmas sack!
Summary: A few ideas that hopefully will go a long way
