Advantages: This server rack is tough hardwearing and relatively easy to install

Disadvantages: Some hard edges not added serurity to the server

When space is limited its worth looking at the Startech 8U Frame Wall Mounted server rack for you server storage needs. The server rack is made of very tough steel that has stood the test of time on my work place. The size of the rack is 19in which means it would fit most standard server sizes.
This rack is pretty small and only fits two servers with enough room for all cables and ventilation
As this rack fits to the wall the only true access to the server is from the front this will cause issues replacing cables. Its not impossible but its certainly difficult with this server to make any adjustments to the back of the server.
I remember having some difficulty on first installation of the servers but we were able to contact a helpful representative from there contact centre who talked us through the issue.
The only colour the server comes in is black but this fits into most IT server rooms

What attracted me to this rack was the cheap price and the strength of the steel. The rack doesn't provide any physical security to the servers apart from raising them off the ground. Because of the weight of the rack and servers you must be careful how you fit the equipment to the wall and follow the instruction closely. The rack comes with a one year warranty which we haven't had to use and a good customer service call centre if you have any questions or concerns.
I would recommend this product as it does save space in your IT room but extra security will be needed to ensure the servers protection as they will open and visible to all.
