The HP High Performance Compute Cluster LC series is a certified solution suite of ProLiant DL380 G3 and ProLiant DL360 G3 servers delivered as orderable single SKU 16, 32, 64, or 128 Node cluster configurations. It is an extensible solution set that delivers on the HP Linux High Performance Computing strategy for industry standard components, certified partner and application solution stacks, and Open Source community involvement and participation spanning both IA32 and IA64 hardware stacks.

The LC 2016 Model-F - the 16-node Pentium P4 Xeon Linux Cluster consists of: a DL380 Control node/Management Server, 15 DL360 Compute nodes, 2 HP Procurve 2650 Non-Blocking 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switches, a Rackmount keyboard/ mouse and monitor, in a 10642 (42U) Rack. The Procurve switches provide for an additional 16 Compute Nodes to be added to the Rack without replacing or adding additional switches.
