Hi my name's Julie and I have been emailed by my friends (Across The Room members) who have asked me to write a review on our club as somebody has put unfair comments on this site - so we're all getting together to tell the truth about ATR. I'd never heard of Dooyoo before but have been looking over the site and it looks great! To join ATR costs £95, a bargain for a lifetime membership! There are loads of things happening every weekend, especially the run up to Christmas! I'm looking to pull a cracker before Christmas Day because it looks like I'm on my own this year. Next weekend I'm going to a Black Tie Ball near Shenfield and at the end of the month I've booked Stockbrook Manor for the new year ball. I wish I had of been more organised and booked more events in advance, but they get so busy around this time of year. Lots of people meet partners and then sail off in to the sunset and then there is a few fussy ones like me that keep coming back for more! It must be said I love the events and I'm not really looking to settle down just yet - not unless you are tall, dark, handsome, charming, a good conversationalist and a great dancer! If you ARE all of those things - drop me an email! If you don't quite tick all these boxes, I would settle for less but don't tell anyone! Anyway ATR is great, I've made loads of friends - don't sit in looking at the 4 walls, there's something and someone for everyone, you've just got to get out and find it!
