I went in to barnardos today after moving house at the weekend and due to the fact I can't really afford top notch things i decided to go in to see if I could find a few things.

The store (in Sunderland) is on two floors and with the outdoors being bright green it is quite difficult not to miss. Unlike other charity shops in the area which only sold clothes this focused mainly on household furniture.

I walked away with a sofa which cost me £60 and it was really good quality with no wear in it what so ever. I also bought a 36" tele which cost £25.

For £6 I could get delivery but with them only able to deliver on days that I worked I decided for the collection.

Unlike a lot of charity shops which I have found is a bit similar to a jumble sale everything was easy to see and reach without having to rake for the quality bargains.

Downstairs was all the sitting room and dining room furniture (including tele's) and upstairs was mainly focused n bedroom furniture with child's pushchairs there as well.

They were also selling tombola's behind the counter which I thought was a great idea, to get more money.

The staff were really friendly and very helpful, overall, I would recommend this store and although I haven't been to anyother stores apart from the one in my area, I imagine by the review that they are all the same.
