I would like to re-iterate everything you have written on English Churches. I also worked at the Customer Service Centre for just under a year. The lady (I use this term loosely) you refer to as 'R', demonstrated some very unusual team management skills for some one in her position. Thank goodness that I was not part of that team. On various occasions, she has been witnessed to shout at her team leaders in full view and within hearing of her team, for things I might add that where outside the remit of the team leaders. How she has been allowed to get away with her behaviour and after various complaints from both staff and tenants is quite beyond me. The most upsetting part for me during my employment with them, is that the team in general is very customer focused (unfortunately, their Client Services Manager is not!). The team also have a very strong rapport with each other and I can quite honestly say, that it was a pleasure to work with them. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the senior team. I also ended my employment with them as it got very embarrassing having to 'fob off' tenants with very lame excuses, for what at the end of the day was service failure on the part of ECHG! Quite a number of long serving staff have recently also moved on to 'better'. This can only be a loss for ECHG and hopefully, the tenants will eventually get what they deserve when they contact the CSC - SOME LEVEL OF SERVICE!
