JessopsNewest Review: ... than 8x10 inches and they looked silly in the 8x10 frames. When I contacted Jessops they highlighted a small disclaimer and explained that "The Jessops Photo website prints offers prints in Original format only", this means that due to the aspect ratio of a standard digital camera, there would be white bars on the top or the sides of prints. Jessops declined to refund me since they had a small disclaimer on the website and offered a 20% discount of my next order, having spent £20 this is basically money lost. The best way to avoid this happening to you is to use the Bonus print website or something similar you will see helpfu... more |

When I uploaded photos on the Jessops website to be printed as 8x10, I went straight out and bought frames for 8x10 photos. I was sadly dissapointed when the photos arrived and they varied in size but were all a good few milimetres short. That is, they had big white bars along the edge making them smaller than 8x10 inches and they looked silly in the 8x10 frames. From my experience, Jessops have been good all around, though my review will be mainly of their website. If you know what it is you're looking for you can skip straight to it by using the search box at the top, or if not you can choose from a clearly organised set of options across the main ... I had a terrible experience with Jessops. Enough for me to vote with my feet and never go in any of their shops again, and to tell everyone how bad they are. I left a picture to be developed and pre-paid. It was a scan of picture of my wedding picture that a friend of the family took. We got married 10 years ago in a small village in France. 2 days later when I came to collect the lad in charge look at the picture and say: "Is it your son's wedding?"... I'm only 35... He continues: "Do you have the copyright for that image". I replied "Are you kidding me?" I explained the situation. He says "You need to ... Read the complete review
