Newest Review: ... a dress size of 30 . then as usual my weight started to go back on and that made me panic as i didn't want to gain all the weight i managed to loose , so i decided to go on the lighter life program and i lost 5 stones in 4 months and now down to a size 8 and down to 9 -6 lbs and my weight has NOT gone back on ... just one word of advice though if after loosing your weight you must NOT expect to eat as you did before as your body will except any thing you give it food wise and you WILL be back to being FAT again , you have to accept a different out look on your diet , my diary i say eat normally 20% of the time and diet 80% of the time ... more

I did the LighterLife Lite programme Jan-Mar 2009 and lost around 3 stone. I was delighted at the weightloss, once I got myself on the programme I enjoyed the feeling of getting lighter and lighter. I have managed to maintain my weight now for 2 years, but, and this is a big BUT..... I have had to radically change my way of eating. Radically. For ever. End of. Here is how: I eat very few carbs..... only 100% rye bread, no wheat except when I make cakes with spelt flour, no pasta, rice, potatoes, crisps. I eat oat cakes. Oh, and porridge oats. I have gained almost a stone but my weight was very low when I stopped. This is because I ate too many sweet ...  Read the complete review

Hello, I did the 100 days on Lighter Life in 2007 and lost 4.5 stones (about 65lbs) .... I had already started off on my own losing 3st before that. I came of it, didn't do the maintenance programme but continued to lose for another 3 months by eating soup and salad. I then had a lot to deal with in 2008 and began very slowly to gain as I gradually began to eat carbs again. i had been going to the gym 3 times a week which i did for two years until I sustained an injury which then left me unable to hardly walk.... in August 2010 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which it appears I had been struggling with for years and altho I had coped on a day to day basis I now found .  Read the complete review

Express Review on Lighter Life

I've been on the LL program for almost 12 weeks and I have lost 4 stones (56 Lbs.) In all honesty, the first week was very tough, but after the initial week was over, it has been totally doable! I am not one with much will power and I have tried for more than 20 years to lose weight. I experienced none of the medical issues some have mentioned here, although I have followed the program to the letter. I Drink plenty of water and check myself every two weeks with my GP. And even though I have eaten regular foods in two or three occasions in the 12 weeks due to anniversaries and birthdays, I do not cheat on this program. Low impact-Cardio workout twice a week is a huge plus and helps with firming the skin. I recommend LL to anyone who wants to change their life!!!

I have just begun my third try at Lighterlife. If I'm honest, I didn't fully commit the second time and was constantly cheating, in grand style. The first time around was terrific. I dropped from 16st 10lbs to 13st 10lbs, UK22 to UK16/14, ( I excersied a lot) in 14 weeks. Sadly, the death of a loved one saw me drift from the programme, even before the 14 week initial period had ended. I returned for a few weeks, but found that due to the grief I was feeling, the last thing I wanted to do was work on my emotional issues; I wanted to hide away. Even so, it was around 9 months before I began piling weight back on. On a subconscious level my attitude to food had ...  Read the complete review
