Advantages: Quick and efective

Disadvantages: You are risking your health

Hello. First of all excuse my English, as English is not my mother tongue. I am now about 15 months after Lighter Life Diet. I finished 3 months Lighter Life programme in November 2006. I had lost 3 stones and I was at my ideal weight. I found the diet very easy to follow. I kept the weight for about 3 months and after everything went wrong. They say that you have to change your eating habits, that's true, but nobody tells that to adjust your metabolism to normal working rate takes about 1 year after such drastic diet. So even you eat less than before programme you slowly putting on weight. So November in 2007 I was exactly same weight as before I started. And that it isn't all. Two months after finishing the diet I started be very ill. First a flue, after chest infection and never ending coughing after certain food. Yesterday I found out that I've got asthma :( Before the programme I was very fit and healthy and now it's been about 15months and I'm not well at all. You can say that it's nothing to do with LL, but I believe I managed to do something with my immune system. It's a quick fix diet and it really works but you can pay quite high price if something goes wrong. And your health is the highest price.

Summary: It's not worth it

Sorry to hear you are unwell, I dont feel u can blame LL for the illness it may of happened anyway, at the end of the day, stroke, heart attack or diabetes are not appealing either. The key at the end of the plan is to work on returning to food.
The food packs do provide the essential vits and minerals.
"your health is the highest price" yes it is especially if you have a stroke and loose the ability to continue working.
I believe the plan should be an individuals choice and of course accepted by your family GP.
not worth it ? I think for some it is
