Advantages: quick results!!
Disadvantages: hunger, expensive hunger hunger!!
hi all... ive just done my one week mark with LL and i wont lie, it is the hardest thing ive ever had to do!!
unlike most of the reviews the 1st couple of days werent too bad only minor headaches though did feel hungry most the time!!!
but day 4, i was seriously ready to pack it all in!!! was really really hungry and just wanted proper food!!
and let me be honest ive "cheated" a few times!!!
having said that at my 1st week weigh in 2day ive lost 9lb!!!! annoyinly it wud hav been more if i hadnt cheated!!!
i spoke to my sponser 2nite and said that i really didnt feel i cud make it thru 3-6 months straight without food and said iwas thinking of having one meal at the end of the week!! she said if thats wats gonna keep me going then go for it?? has anyone else tried it this way?
reading all these profiles has really spurred me on to try and have a better week!!
ill keep you posted!!
lots of love and luck!!!
keep it up!!
Summary: really really hard but worth it if u have the will power

- 08/04/08 You are on a very dangerous, very low calorie starvation diet. The reason you are 'cheating' is because the body is not designed to go through this torture.
How anyone can pay the amount of money every week to starve themselve is beyond me. Once you are starting to eat again your body will store food as fat in case another famine comes along.
If you want to learn about healthy eating and why you are eating the wrong things and the wrong amounts, there are healthier ways, join weight watchers, slimming world ,rosemary conley. They also teach you healthy eating and exercise without charging you a king's ransom to starve yourself.
The only way to loose weight is to change your eating habits, eat healthy food and exercise. It's not brain surgery.
Compa nies like Lighter Life, Cambridge diet and Lipotrim prey on the desperation of serial dieters. The only people who will win are the manufacturers of the diets, all you will loose in the long term will be hundreds, if not thousands of pounds in money - with the weight piling back on once you come off the diet.
Furtherm ore, it is not healthy for the body to go through a diet like this without MEDICAL supervision (in a hospital) - why don't you ask your so called councellor how much he/she has wasted on the diet, what their qualifications are to tell you that starvation is the best diet and tell you exactly what the side effects of this diet are. |
