Advantages: Very fast weight loss, Gets you the start you need, As you can't eat anything else helps you get rid
Disadvantages: Don't have any as it is doing what it is supposed to.
Ok so i have read through a few reviews here and thought i would have my own little say.
First of all there is 2 ways you can do this program well in the UK that is.
1. Under your Doctors Super vision

This is a Total Food Replacement Diet (TFR). While on the diet you can only drink water, tea or coffee (with out milk or sugar). All you have to eat are the supplements supplied to you by your doctor or chemist. These consist of either shakes or flapjacks.
Shake Flavours: Strawberry, Chocolate (nicest 1), Vanilla, Chicken Soup.
Flapjack Falvours: Peanut, Coconut.
Now as for how i did and my advise. If you are thinking about doing this diet i really urge you to think about it. Make ure you want it otherwise it is not worth it.
The diet is designed to start Ketossis in your body which is when your blood sugar drops and your body hits the alarms telling you to use up your sored FAT(sugar levels).
I myself watched someone on it for 2 weeks thinking everyday could i do it? Do i want to do it? Am i ready? once i answered yes to all these i gave it a go.
Now i did carry weight very well you would not have thought i was 22st 7lbs but i was. OK as for results. Just got weighed an hour ago completing week number 5. I am now 19st 7lbs thats a 3st weightloss.
Weightloss by week
Week1 15lbs
Week2 10lbs
Week3 6.5lbs
Week4 6.5lbs
Week5 4lbs
Now i have done this without any exercise at all but am starting this tomorrow. I will post results every week i am on the diet. My aim for now is 18st, Only 1st7lbs left to go.
Thank you LIPOTRIM, you are making my Goals come closer and closer. Biggiest goal is to score a try in a game of rugby again. Haven't played for 6 years due to injury and i used to train 4 days a week and play 2 games on the weekend. I will play and score a try again and i will play better than i have ever done.
Summary: Drink Sparkling Water, it makes you feel full.

- 06/03/06 I must admit I'm more than a little concerned at the speed at which you're losing weight. Having suffered from a condition in pregnancy that left me producing ketones, I know that these are actually the results of your body poisoning itself. (I ended up developing gallstones due to the rapid weight loss).
I'm also actually very surprised that any GP would condone a diet that encourages you to lose so much so quickly. My own GP has recommended that I lose 1-2lb a week, as this is considered healthy, sustainable weight loss. It may take me a little longer to lose the weight, but it also means I don't suffer any of the potential side-effects. |
