Advantages: No worries about what to cook for dinner

Disadvantages: Bit boring but you lose interest in food anyway

I did the Lipotrim diet back in the spring. I did it for 9 weeks until the end of May when I had a wedding to attend. I lost 2 stone 11lbs and felt great all the way through. It is defintely a state of mind - you have to be determined to do it and stick to it. I stuck soooo rigidly to it that if I was cooking for the family and got sauce on my fingers - I wouldn't even lick it off !!!! Over the summer I put back on about 10 lbs and altho my clothes felt ok (they were falling off after the initial 9 weeks) I wanted to shift the 10lbs and more if poss. I started it last Sunday - deliberately on a Sun because it's the toughest day and if I could do that day the rest of the week would be a doddle. So far so good. The chemist warned me that it's much harder the 2nd time around but I've found it ok. The chocolate is the best tasting. You need the shaker the chemist sells or else use a whisk - you do need to whisk or shake them **a lot**. I have 2 shakes a day and chicken soup in the evening. I use cold water, shake it in the shaker and then heat it in saucepan using a whisk. Mainly because it feels like I'm cooking myself a dinner ! I use a little curry powder in the soup to flavour it and although the chemist has said not to because it affects the ketosis - I lost .5 short of 2kg this week (and that was 6 days). So, in short, it's not for everyone but the key is mental attitude. Plus exercise - I try to walk at least 3 - 4 times a week (3 miles) and do Curves a few times also. Good luck everyone

Summary: Try it but be determined

Hi Ev eryone, I am in week 3 of lipotrim, its my second time trying it as the first time I only last one week, but am determined this time as I have a family occasion coming up in June, and am determined to shed at least 4 stone. I lost 8 lbs the first week, and amazingly 11 lbs the second week, which really gave me a great buzz, so I am going into week three and half way there almost and have been good so far. Am finding the cooking for the family hard (husband and 3 kids) was inclined to 'taste' the mash potato to make sure it wasn't too hot, yeah.. so I have stopped that now, as I realished it was only frustrating me and making me feel hungry. that was the first week, so now I have stopped picking and tasting it is easier. I did find the hunger quite mind boggling at the start though, and found if I sat down to watch telly, every bloomin advert on telly seemed to be for food, glorious food, so I have found one very beneficial side effect to lipotrim, you have to stay busy, my kitchen presses have all been emptied and cleaned out and reorganised, I am delighted, as the house badly needs de-cluttering, and I reckon not only will it be good to stay busy and not thinking about food, but it will be great to have the house looking lovely again !! anyway, good luck to all you other lipotrimmers, its a long hard road that took us to this point in our lives, but if we stick with it, it will be worth it. Also one point to the previous reviews where people are saying to avoid the lipotrim and instead eat healthy and exercise, dah !!! if it were just an issue of that, do you not think we would all have done that a long time ago ? obviously we have issues concerning food, and yes I agree there are healthy ways of losing weight, I have tried loads of different diets and always ended up back at the same point, with the weight I lost back up and a bit more with it. I think this time it will hopefully be different, in that I am seriously thinking about nutrition and food issues and planning how to keep it off this time, instead of always using food as a means of celebration and reward. thats all !

Lipotrim doesn't work, you put the weight back on. Why am I not surprised? Yo Yo dieting is dangerous. Don't waste any more money and start a healthy eating and exercise regime to get the weight off and keep it off
