Advantages: Quick weight loss after 4-5 days of slow loss. Makes you think about what you eat/ate.

Disadvantages: It is very strict, but if you want it badly enough it works. Not easy to mix shakes in public

I've been on Lipotrim for a 1.5weeks. Have lost nearly a stone. Other diets didn't work due to bowel problems. I recommend Movicol if you get serious constipation, i.e. not able to go once a week, (like I have). You get it from pharmacy & it is allowed. If worried about mixing shakes in front of people do it in car or go 4 walk. You can get plastic shakers from health food shops. You can also get flapjacks as an alternative to the shakes which help if you know you won't be able to easily mix a shake or soup. I find I still get hungry but usually it is the smell of food which sets me off. You start to realise you don't need all the food you ate before. Often it is just because you are thirsty. Have a drink of water and you soon feel full.

Summary: Worth it. No more expensive than a normal shop and it works.
